How many clinics are there?

Are you open on the weekends? Calgary only

Laser Therapy
Low-intensity laser therapy reduces inflammation and supports your body's natural healing. Non-invasive, drug-free, and gentle for injuries and chronic pain.
About Laser Therapy →What is Low Intensity Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cells in injured tissue. The process, called photobiomodulation, supports tissue repair and reduces pain and inflammation. It doesn't cut or heat tissue.
Does it hurt? Is it safe?
Most people feel nothing, or a mild warmth. It involves no drugs or needles. You'll wear protective eyewear, and we screen for the few situations where it isn't used, such as pregnancy or active cancer in the treatment area.
What conditions can Laser Therapy help?
It's commonly used for arthritis, tendinitis, back and neck pain, sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, and nerve-related pain. There are many soft tissue conditions that it can help with. Here is just a brief list <a href="testimonials">.
How many sessions does it take?
That depends on the condition and how long you've had it. Recent injuries often need fewer sessions. Long-standing problems usually need a series over several weeks. We'll give you an estimate after your assessment.
Is it covered by insurance?
Coverage varies a lot between extended health plans, and many don't list it. Check with your provider. While we do not direct bill, we do supply detailed receipts for claims.
What is a Class 3B laser? How is it different from Class 4?
Laser classes are safety ratings based on power output, not measures of treatment quality. Class 3B lasers are limited to 0.5 watts, while Class 4 covers everything above that, from therapy lasers to industrial lasers. Results depend on delivering the right dose and wavelength for your condition. Our Class 3B lasers treat without heating the tissue and make an excellent tool to help treat a wide variety of conditions.
Manual Osteopathy Calgary only
Hands-on treatment of muscles, joints, and connective tissue to restore mobility, ease pain, and address the underlying cause, not just the symptom.
About Manual Osteopathy →What is Manual Osteopathy?
Manual osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach to assessing and treating the muscles, joints, and connective tissues of the body. It looks at how different areas work together, rather than focusing only on the spot that hurts.
Is a Manual Osteopath like a Chiropractor?
Both are hands-on therapies focused on how your body's structure affects pain. Chiropractors mainly work on the spine, often with quick adjustments. Manual osteopaths treat the whole body using gentle, slower techniques, with no cracking or thrusting required.
Is a Manual Osteopath the same as an Osteopathic Physician (DO)?
No. An Osteopathic Physician (DO) is a licensed medical doctor who can diagnose, prescribe medication, and perform surgery, just like an MD. A Manual Osteopath is not a physician. Our Manual Osteopaths are hands-on therapists who use gentle techniques to relieve pain and improve movement, and they work alongside your doctor rather than replacing them.
Are your therapists physiotherapists?
No. Our team includes massage therapists and manual osteopaths, and we also offer low intensity laser therapy. Physiotherapy is a separate regulated health profession in Alberta. If you're already seeing a physiotherapist, we're happy to be part of your care alongside them.
How does Manual Osteopathy relate to the other therapies you offer?
Manual osteopathy works well on its own or combined with our other therapies. A Manual Osteopathy session can include low intensity laser therapy, soft tissue work, and Somatics when they'll help your treatment. Sessions often include a combination of therapies tailored to your specific condition and needs.
Massage Therapy Calgary only
Massage therapy to release muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery from injury, stress, and chronic pain.
About Massage Therapy →How is Massage Therapy different from a traditional massage?
Massage therapy is a targeted treatment of a specific area intended to help with pain reduction and promote healing. It is not a relaxation massage. You won't be asked to strip down and it is much more focused on the condition you want help with. It's highly complimentary to the other forms of therapies that Laser Health Solutions offers.
How does Massage Therapy work with Laser Therapy?
Massage therapy and low intensity laser therapy address pain in different ways. Massage works on tight muscles and restricted movement, while laser therapy uses light to help reduce pain and inflammation in the tissues. Used together, they can target both muscle tension and the irritated tissue causing it. Your therapist can recommend whether combining them suits your condition.
Chiropractic Surrey only
Assessment and adjustment of the spine and joints to improve alignment and movement, helping relieve back, neck, and joint pain.
About Chiropractic →What does a Chiropractor do?
Dr. Rob will give me a good answer for this section or I'll steal it from his web page.
Somatics Calgary only
Gentle, guided movements that retrain habitual muscle tension, helping you release chronic tightness and move with greater ease.
About Somatics →What is Somatics?
Somatics is a gentle, movement-based approach to easing chronic muscle tension. Using slow, guided movements, it helps you become more aware of muscles that have become habitually tight and teaches you how to release them yourself.
Is it a stretching or strengthening program?
No, it is not. It is about training the mind-body connection. We like to say it's more like a non-stretching program because the communication between your brain and your muscles is more important than range of motion changes that come from stretching.
Is this like Hanna Somatics?
Yes it is. Our therapists are trained as Hanna Somatics therapists. Could this answer be better? YES!
