604-575-1331 Book AppointmentPostural analysis is a detailed look at how you stand, sit, and move. At our Surrey clinic we use PostureScreen®, which uses photos to measure your posture and show where your body may be carrying extra strain.
Long hours at a computer or looking down at a phone can shift your posture over time. At Laser Health Solutions & Panorama Chiropractic in Surrey, postural analysis helps your chiropractor understand what may be contributing to your symptoms, so your treatment plan can focus on the right areas.
PostureScreen takes photos of your posture and identifies key points on your body, such as your ears, shoulders, hips, and knees. It then measures your posture against a grid.
The results show deviations such as forward head posture, pelvic tilt, or feet rolling inward (pronation). Your chiropractor reviews them with you, and the report can be emailed to you so you can see the findings yourself.
Postural analysis can help you understand ongoing discomfort by:
Based on your results, your chiropractor can recommend at-home corrective exercises, based on the Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®) technique, selected for the patterns found in your analysis.
A follow-up scan, usually about a month later, lets you and your chiropractor compare your posture over time.
A seated desk analysis looks at how you sit at your computer and can guide changes to your workstation setup.
Postural analysis can be a helpful part of care for people with back or neck problems, poor posture, or scoliosis; office workers who spend long hours at a computer; students and others who use phones and tablets a lot; and athletes.
Every patient is different. Your chiropractor will review your results with you and recommend a plan based on your individual needs, symptoms, and goals.
Postural analysis is quick, non-invasive, and informative, giving you and your chiropractor a clearer picture of what may be behind your symptoms.
At Laser Health Solutions & Panorama Chiropractic in Surrey, we use what we learn to plan chiropractic care, laser therapy, custom orthotics, and exercises when appropriate, giving you a personalized plan designed to help you move better, feel better, and get back to doing what you love.
Your appointment starts with a conversation about your symptoms, work, and daily activities. You'll then stand for a few photos, and, if it's useful, sit at a desk set-up for a seated analysis.
Wear comfortable, fitted clothing so your posture is easy to see.
⚠️ Verify (Dr. Rob): any specific clothing guidance the clinic gives for PostureScreen photos.
Your chiropractor will walk you through what the analysis found, how it may relate to your symptoms, and which exercises and next steps they recommend. You can receive your report by email.
A follow-up scan, usually about a month later, shows how your posture is changing.
