What is Manual Osteopathy
Manual osteopathy is a hands-on, holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on restoring normal movement, alignment, and balance within the body to promote natural healing.
It is based on the core principle that structure and function are interrelated — when the body’s structure (muscles, joints, fascia, viscera, and spine) is balanced and mobile, the body can function and heal optimally.
What to Expect During a Session
Each session is tailored to your individual needs and may include joint and tissue mobilization, manual techniques, and more.
The appointment lasts about an hour and can include the use of low intensity laser therapy, massage therapy, and somatics as necessary.
The appointments are gentle. We do not use injections or other invasive treatments.
Typically for many conditions, relief can be expected within 4 to 6 appointments, however this does vary from patient-to-patient and by condition. Some may require more or less treatments. These appointments are typically about one week apart but the therapist may adjust this frequency to best suit your needs.
