Dr. Robert Skleryk

I'm a chiropractor at Laser Health Solutions in Surrey, BC, and I've been in practice since 1997. I see patients of all ages, including many babies and children.

From the laboratory to chiropractic

While I was completing a Master's degree in science, a friend who was studying to become a chiropractor introduced me to chiropractic. I sat in on some of his classes and was immediately interested. I wanted to interact with people, not sit in a laboratory staring at test tubes all day. Chiropractic's natural approach, free from drugs and surgery, appealed to me.

I attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I met Dr. Y.Y. She became my wife and business partner after we graduated in 1997.

I'm skilled in both manual and instrument-based adjustments. I also use the Bioflex® Laser System and can fit you for custom orthotics to support your body's biomechanics. [PROVIDE DETAIL HERE: how he decides which technique to use]

Part of the Surrey community

Over the years, I've built relationships with many people in the community. Some of the children I see today are the children of patients who first came to me when Panorama Chiropractic opened. It's amazing how time flies, seeing the impact we've had on our patients' health.

Always learning

Outside the practice

I cycle with a group of friends. I've ridden the Ride to Conquer Cancer® five years in a row, 250 kilometres over two days from Vancouver to Seattle. I've also completed the Grand Fondo Ride and Ride 2 Survive, a one-day, 400-kilometre ride from Kelowna to Delta that raises funds for cancer.

My two daughters are both involved in Scouts Canada, and I've volunteered as a leader with the organization for over 20 years.
