About 6 months ago I began to experience the discomfort of plantar fasciitis. I believe this condition erupted as a sports injury likely from playing squash. I first injured my arm 6 years ago playing baseball while pitching. The injury has been with me since and I still play regularly for fun. I have tried physiotherapy and chiropractic, but the pain relief was always temporary.
It was one day I saw in the newspaper about LaserHealth Solutions, that I thought to give it a try, something different. Last September, I was playing baseball and threw out my arm and couldn't throw for the last season. I was referred here by a friend and decided to try it out.

I saw Blaine about 3 years ago for almost the same kind of injury and got better. I kept thinking about going to see him…but then thought I just need time to heal and things will eventually get better. There was pain when I was walking as the pain was shooting down my right leg, I couldn't sit for long, couldn't stand either. Even driving my vehicle was painful as my right leg hurt to reach the gas pedal. It was either walking slowly or laying down. I was in so much pain I was nauseous. I waited about 3 weeks and could no longer stand the pain, so I made an appointment with LaserHealth.
The morning before I went to see Blaine I couldn't stand, could only sit on the edge of a chair with my elbows on my knees and back bent down. I thought I was going to die it hurt so much. That morning when I was examined by him, he said that when I fell I moved by tailbone and he needed to move it back to the way it was. I was quite nervous as knew this may hurt. Once it had been turned/moved back, I stood up and what a huge difference in the pain…in fact there was none in my back, it was instant relief. My leg was still sore, but I could stand tall without back pain. I was very surprised by this as the last time I went, it did take a few visits to get me better. In the month of February 2013 I had injured my knee dancing. At first we had thought it was just a sore muscle and that it would heal. After a few days of ice and medical creams nothing changed. We thought maybe LaserHealth Solutions would help. I went for 6 treatments and after the first 2 treatments I was able to walk up the stairs without pain. On Sunday I tripped and fell while running up a flight of stairs. I drove my left foot (no shoes on) into the top stair quite hard. Even though I did not break my big toe, the pain was quite significant to the point where I found it very difficult to walk.
I was too busy and unable to treat the injury on Monday. The pain and limp did not improve at all by Tuesday morning. At Blaine's insistence I received a treatment that morning. By the afternoon I was able to walk a longer distance with moderate pain instead of only just a few steps. After my second treatment on Wednesday I found that I could walk around fairly well with only a minor limp despite how bruised the joint in my big toe appeared. On Thursday I decided not to have a third treatment as I'm now walking normally. It's still tender but I can walk without a limp.
What would have taken 7 to 1 days heal up based on past experience, only took a few days!

I'm 80 years old. I had a left shoulder injury in 1967. Slowly I couldn't raise my arm higher then my shoulder. They called it frozen shoulder I went to a medical professional who told me to get use to it, it would only get worse. In the last 3 years my right shoulder give me some trouble including pain. I always listen to talk radio QR 77 one day I heard an ad about laser treatment. I thought I have nothing to lose so I made an appointment and went for an assessment by Blaine. He recommended 12 treatment for each shoulder. After treatment my right shoulder improved 100%, my 46 year injury shoulder injury improved beyond my expectation and hope. As a bonus my pain is gone. The staff were very kind and helpful. They were genuinely interested to see me improve. They are real professionals.

After completing a walking half marathon the next day I had a very, very sore backside with an intense shooting pain down my thigh. It was an inflamed piriformis which is a muscle in your buttocks which pressed on my Sciatic Nerve. Whenever I sat it was extremely uncomfortable. I would squirm to find a position that I could bear. There were times I went from the sitting to standing positions and I was totally immobilized. I tried waiting out the injury, Tylenol, ibuprofen, ice and heat. Nothing seemed to lessen the pain. I eventually had 3 treatments of low intensity laser and the pain was gone. I could not believe it! \"I came into LaserHealth Solutions two weeks after being in a motor vehicular accident in late 2010 where I was rear ended twisting me in my seat. I was having back and neck pain which caused my legs to go numb. I could not sit for 10 minutes without being in major pain and could not walk long distances. My doctor prescribed muscle relaxants and I attended physiotherapy/massage as often as three times a week. I would end up leaving the physiotherapy appointments in more pain then when I entered and I was seeing little to no improvement.
I was referred to Blaine (of LaserHealth Solutions) from a family member at a point when I was in unbearable pain. I was willing to try anything to return to normalcy. I will admit that I was a little unsure about how well their treatments would work.
After my first appointment with Blaine I was feeling much better. My range of motion increased to half of what I would consider normal. I could sit stand and walk with very little to no pain. The stretching and gentle muscle work that he provided was more relaxing then any of the physiotherapy and massages I previously had. He recommended plenty of stretches for me to do at home to help this process. He even pointed out things that my fiancée could watch for and assist me in my recovery. The results were obvious and I was back to my old self (even shoveling snow) after four treatments.

I finally had surgery to repair the damage one year ago but the constant pain lingered causing many sleepless nights. We even purchased the best pocket coil mattress available to no avail. At the age of 66 I am aware that my body's healing capacity is significantly slower but I needed relief.

\"You know the other day I stopped to help a guy from a burning truck along Deerfoot. I stopped to help with some other people and it ended up that two of us had to pull the driver out of the passenger side. He was resisting he didn't want to go. He was frozen at the wheel. We had to pull with all we had to get him up.
You know I didn't notice anything that day but the next day my lower back was screaming. I couldn't even bend over it was so bad. I struggled for a couple of days thinking it would get better but it didn't it got worse and so yes I headed to LaserHealth Solutions.
Blaine examined it he poked and he prodded a bit and massaged it and stretched it and he found a couple of trigger points that were the key areas of problem and the trigger points led to pain in other places; and Blaine can always figure those things out. So he decided to put the light on those spots and the treatment began. You know he figured that it was probably a combination of jumping out of the car and running up this high embankment to where the truck was coupled with the excessive force we had to use to get him out and the difficult weird angles we were at pulling the guy through the passenger side door. It was really tough. So those two things combined to yank my back. But after the massaging and the identification of the problem and then putting the laser light pads on the areas it's great. It took a few visits but my back is fine again. I could move normally. It feels great!
