I came to LaserHealth Solutions complaining about right shoulder pain that gradually developed over a 4 week period. I was having difficultly with raising my arm above my head and lying on my right side at night would keep me up when sleeping. I tried to fix the problem by taking Advil, which only temporally relieved the problem. I listened to the Doctors and the Laser Therapists and started icing and using the Traumeel that was prescribed to me. After my 5th laser treatment I noticed some improvement. I had a total of 10 treatments and now I can happily report that I am 100% better and I can get a decent nights sleep without waking up in pain.

On December 2, 2007 I was in a car accident and ended up injuring my right shoulder. I soon found it difficult to sleep at night because of the pain from lying on my shoulder. I love my grand kids and soon found it very difficult to lift them up without my shoulder hurting.
My wife had some laser treatment at LaserHealth Solutions and so I thought I would give it a try. After a series of 16 treatments the healing in my shoulder has been remarkable. I am not 100%, but at about 80%. I am able to sleep at night and most importantly I am able to pick up my grand kids without hesitation. As a management consultant I do a lot of computer related work including extensive time preparing presentations to communicate Business and IT Solutions to my clients and for business development purposes.
Ironically, to avoid a carpal tunnel wrist injury my "ergonomic position" resulted in a chronic shoulder injury. At times I could hardly lift my right arm without significant pain. I sought medical advice and it came in the form of x-rays, medicated lotions, extensive physiotherapy and steroid injections. After three years it became manageable but never disappeared off my "pain radar screen".
My personal wake up call came after I semi-retired with my new found youth and decided to do 2 days of landscaping around the yard. Big mistake! My neck was injured from lifting sod and I felt my head was going to fall off!
Living with a shoulder injury is one thing but the prospect of living with a neck injury was a real wake up call for me! It was no different than if I had had a heart attack!
I got medical advice in the form of a neck x-ray which showed minor joint deterioration in two joints. I left the doctors office dejected with advice to take Tylenol for Arthritis Pain!
It was at this time, I decided to chart a new course for my soft tissue injuries with therapy at LaserHealth Solutions. It started with an assessment and a recommended plan to undergo 12 therapy sessions covering both my neck and shoulder. The large number of treatments was based on the chronic nature of the neck injury and the nerve linkage with my injured shoulder.
The frequency of my 45 minute therapy sessions included:
- 3 treatments/week during the first 2 weeks
- 2 treatments/week for next 2 weeks
- 1 treatment/week for last 2 weeks.
There was a noticeable improvement in my shoulder in the first week and a real breakthrough on my neck pain on the 9th treatment. It gave me the confidence to schedule a week‘s holiday at the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. It was the 12th treatment that left me with no lingering fears of not being able to sustain my new healthy state. So I am off snorkeling!

One Saturday morning in November of 2000, I was perched on top of an extension ladder painting the cathedral ceiling in my living room. I suddenly felt the ladder begin to slip off the beam that it was resting against. I fell 10 feet, sustaining a compound fracture in my left wrist as well as a dislocated elbow and shoulder. My orthopedic surgeon warned me to expect a future of limited mobility and arthritis. I never regained full range of motion and experienced constant dull pain in my shoulder and numbness in my left hand.
In September, I slipped and stopped short of hitting the ground by breaking my fall with, you guessed it, my left arm. I really thought that I had broken it all over again. I mentioned my fall to Dr. Rob during a subsequent visit for a chiropractic adjustment. He recommended that I try some laser treatments on my shoulder.
My progress was slow and subtle, but by the tenth treatment I felt like I had great range of motion, less pain and numbness, and significantly better blood flow in my left arm. Back in March 28, I started experiencing pain in my right shoulder. I have no idea what had triggered or caused it. It was a mystery. My family doctor only gave me pain killers. I got an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon who thought it was rotator cuff inflammation. He gave me 2 cortisone shots that had no effect. He scheduled me for an MRI which is not until March 29. I got tired of taking pain killers for 9 months. After 3 treatments at LaserHealth Solutions, I stopped taking pain killers. The acute pain was so intense that it limited my movement in most directions and sleeping was horrible. Advil didn't help at all. Because it was an acute injury they suggested 3 - 6 treatments. Nearly 3 weeks ago I dislocated my shoulder playing hockey. I was told by the ER doctor to keep my arm in the sling for about 3 weeks and to not do any physical activity for at least 6 weeks. I felt that I was becoming a complete mess, constantly in pain and didn't know what or how to do anything about it - except take medication and pain killers. After bring my husband for laser treatment each time and finding out that it really worked for him -- I decided to give it a try. Dr. Rob told me that with Polymyalgia Rheumatica it would control the pain but wasn't a cure. After a few treatments I started noticing a change - a really big change. I was feeling much better and I wasn't in the pain killer bottles. Friends who hadn't seen me for months said I was walking without a limp and other tell me how much better I look. “I'm a self employed heavy duty mechanic. The work I do includes a lot of heavy lifting and pulling. My shoulder pain started close to 2 years ago. I was in pretty much constant pain. Even driving was painful. And I was missing out on sleep – there was no comfortable position. An ultrasound in November of 2010 showed a partial tear in one of my rotator cuff tendons. The doctors were recommending surgery and advised me that it would take three months to be able to work afterwards. Three months without my income was just not acceptable! I was seriously thinking that I'd have to find a new career. After years of building my business, the thought of starting out at the bottom somewhere, in something new, was really discouraging. But I couldn't keep going on like I was.

It had gotten so bad that I wasn't able to golf and the pain was waking me up at night. I was getting very frustrated. I had an x-ray and an ultrasound. My doctor said I had tennis elbow and he suggested a cortisone shot, but I wanted to do a treatment that fixed the problem instead of just postponing the symptoms for a while. I also didn't like the sound of the side effects of cortisone. I asked my doctor about Laser Therapy and though he didn't know much about it, he said to give it a try.

I injured my right shoulder in a fall in the bath 2 years ago. Movement had been restricted as was my strength. Not to mention the grinding, popping and pain. After 6 treatments of trigger points and lasers I have greatly improved. My shoulder doesn't hurt anymore and it is now a contributing member of the body, no more free rides.

My name is Shylo I am 22 years old, I got into a car accident on March 6th 2010. I was rear-ended while stopped and the guy that hit me was going about 50-60 km per hour.
I am suffering from TMJ, neck, back and, shoulder pain. For the first 6 months I was off work. Walking up stairs, putting on socks, driving, and many other day to day activities could not be done any more. I went to other therapies non-stop for the first year, was not seeing much improvement. It was always short term relief and even though it helped a little bit I was still in extreme pain. Previous treatment of cortisone injections was helpful for a short period only. I had an injection 4 weeks prior to seeking help from the laser treatment. My shoulder had been bugging me for a while but I was putting up with it, wincing every time I put on a jacket, feeling the pain every time I lifted something, putting up with the ache during every workout, but finally I just had enough, I had to get it fixed. I was so impressed with their approach, the highly trained therapists there listened closely to my story, then they manipulated a bit and massaged a bit and zeroed right in on the problem… I think it was a ‘Superspenatis', or something. Enter the laser treatment, actually light treatment, no dangerous light beams or anything, all very passive but very effective. In 2007 a friend of mine saw an article for LaserHealth Solutions in the newspaper which caught her eye as it advertised help for people with plantar fasciitis. I was skeptical so I let her be the guinea pig and then being ever so skeptical waited a year and called to see if she was still pain free. Upon confirmation that she was I made my appointment with Blaine (for plantar fasciitis).

I'm 80 years old. I had a left shoulder injury in 1967. Slowly I couldn't raise my arm higher then my shoulder. They called it frozen shoulder I went to a medical professional who told me to get use to it, it would only get worse. In the last 3 years my right shoulder give me some trouble including pain. I always listen to talk radio QR 77 one day I heard an ad about laser treatment. I thought I have nothing to lose so I made an appointment and went for an assessment by Blaine. He recommended 12 treatment for each shoulder. After treatment my right shoulder improved 100%, my 46 year injury shoulder injury improved beyond my expectation and hope. As a bonus my pain is gone.
